We buy 100% Pure Kona Coffee, 100% Pure Hawaiian Estate Coffees, and a variety of the finest coffees from around the world. We roast in small batches on the premises daily. We sell at the best price and deliver to the four corners of the Earth.

Woo. You might be thinking that this guy has an ego the size of Montana. Possibly. My kids like me though.

When we started this lil' e-venture in 1995 our mission was to offer the best coffees at the best price. Otherwise what's the point? You can buy coffee all over the web or at your local coffee shop. Everybody says the same thing:

"... picked at the peak of maturity ... roasted to perfection ... "

Blah blah blah

Of course everybody says that stuff. What're they gonna say; We buy our beans from a guy who sells them out of the trunk of his Gremlin©, roast until it smells like burnt cat, and it tastes like brewed dirt?

The only way we were going to stand out from everybody else was to offer the best quality coffee and sell it at the best price. Simple. Easy to remember too.

There's a lot of hype about Kona Coffee. You can go buy a pound of Kona Coffee at what seems to be a better price and then notice in teeny tiny type on the label that it says "Not less than 10% Pure Kona Coffee." You just bought a blend, not 100% Pure Kona Coffee. If you take one Kona Coffee bean, nine Colombian Beans, grind them up, and brew up some coffee, you'll end up with a cup of coffee that tastes very much like Colombian coffee. It's not bad coffee. It's just not 100% Pure Kona Coffee.

Our label says: "100% Pure Kona Coffee." No confusion. When you buy our 100% Pure Kona Coffee, you get 100% Pure Kona Coffee. Truth in advertising. What a concept.

We use 20% Kona in our Hawaiian blends. The purpose of our blends is to come up with a great brew, not just hype Kona.

Our flavored coffees are made with 100% Hawaiian beans. Nobody ... I mean Nobody does that.

When you shop around look carefully at the amount of coffee being sold. A lot of sites seem to have a better price but they're selling 10 or 12 ounce packages. At Superbeans you'll only find 16 ounce bags. We used to sell half pounds but the price was higher on a per ounce basis. I didn't want to sell anything unless it was the best deal we could offer.

So there's our mission statement. If you can find better coffee at a better price, e-mail me by clicking the button and tell me who, how much, and where. My only options are to lower our prices accordingly or kill the other coffee guy. I think I'll stay within the realm of sane competition.

Why am I so obsessed with coffee? I learned a long time ago that sometimes ... a perfect cup of coffee just might be the best thing that happens to you all day.
